Just a quick hi.
Just sold a MK3 MX5 which I had for 4 months (was missing rwd) and now on the look out for an ED30.
Really looking forward to owning a new VW.
Im not completely new to dubs though, I still have my old dub in the garage that I have owned for 11 years

Welcome along. Good luck with the search. I wouldn't let the finance put me off a car especially if you can pay the difference yourself and remainder to seller. Car dealers don't normally clear the outstanding finance on trade-ins until a seller shows the interest. A little care in buying this way could bring you the car you want. I've bought this way several times with no issue , including my current car bought from a guy who lost his job and needed the finance cleared. Happy hunting.

Not a problem if I can pay the finance off myself. But paying cash or any other payment to a seller on the promise of finance being paid off is a no go.......
