Its a Rover it will be a crock of sh*t no matter what.
Heres a short story: The MGF was based loosely on the Metro so the front hubs were Metro front hubs without drive shafts but exactly the same with the splined hole for the drive shaft. When China bought the rights to make it they copied it exactly WITH the Metro splined front wheel drive hubs!
I knew loads of people who bought MGF's and when they told me I just put my head in my hands and said 'I give you six months until the head gasket goes'! My mates when twice, sister in laws once and other mates wifes twice, it ruined Rover.
I would never buy one no matter what.
