Title: Independent Service in West London?

Can anyone recommend an affordable independent service workshop  in West London?

I have a message on the dash which says "Service now!" The last time I responded to that (18 months ago) I went to the local VW dealership (Finchley Road, West Hampstead) they put a new Cam Belt on an a few other 'minor' things to a Golf GTI with 40k on it and charged me £2,500 + vat

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
