Title: My Steel Grey GTI!!.. ***Update...Wheels + Coilovers***
Post by: adamf on May 28, 2011, 09:49:29 am: Hi Everyone. I have just bought this last week so thought i would show you all my new purchase :party:

Excuse the pics. They are not great (and im no photographer lol) Just got the car and got some pics quick... Need to clean and detail it before any good ones go up...

Really happy with the car...Coming from and EP3 Civic Type R it is a completely different kettle of fish. So comfortable and nothing like the basic civic with nothing it it... I now have a clock in my car... :drinking:

MFD2 + Armrest changer - Need updated maps though :sad1:

I think it has the Winter Pack + Lux Pack - Heated seats, Armrest etc...

Lambo Rep Wheels - Not to sure they are a bit of me so maybe looking for some new wheels. They are huge.. (19s)

I already have a few mods lined up but until i sell the civic and all the mods i dont think im going to touch it yet. So when i start to break the civic up next week you may see a few new things popping up on here in the coming weeks....

Not keen on the lambo wheels though, think some nice 18's with a slight drop would look a lot nicer.
19's seem to dwarf the arches.

and i also bought a cambelt kit, waterpump, cam chain, chain tensioner and some antifreeze to be fitted tomorrow.. :jumpmove:

It rubs a little when corning tight bend/roundabouts hard. Have done the front screw delete but still rubbing. Going to get the hammer and dolly out and give it a tap up at weekend and see if that helps. If not. Will roll the arches a bit :driver:

My mate had the blue beemer decked on white wheels who parked up alongside the shops you might of seen!

Well i was going to go a bit darker but i have had dark wheels on loads of my cars so thought i would go for a bit of sparkle silver (original colour) so they look a bit fresher.

If i end up kerbing them i wioll get my mate to powdercoat them anthracite maybe if they need doing again.
