Title: What can the standard speakers take?
Post by: JackG on May 29, 2011, 09:54:13 am
Hi guys, I've just got a new dnx520bvt headunit.....sounds great! Bass is good and sound quality is better
I think the standard speakers are pretty good to be honest, I have a 08 ed30 with the 10 speaker system.....has anyone ever used a small amp to power the standard speakers? It's just an option at the moment, a £250 amp may give some plus points instead of £250 for the amp and then £250 for speakers too
I don't play my music overly loud, I worked for halfords as ICT specialist for 4 years so that BOOM BOOM stage went ages ago  :signLOL:
Just want a bit more deep bass

As far as I'm aware, VW alter the output from the head unit as the standard speakers can't take it. They're pants.
