Am I being silly....?
My new car has a MFD2 with ipod dock in the center arm rest. I understand that it emulates a CD changer but when pressing the CD button on the MFD2 I get a "no CD" message.
Is this how it should work, am I doing something wrong? Perhaps it isn't plugged in properly to the MFD2?
To be honest I will probably stick an RNS510 in with MDI but it'd be nice to use it for the meantime as I don't own any CDs these days :signLOL:
Thanks for any help,
Richard

You might have to press CD twice to get it to look for the cd changer / ipod. Otherwise double check the connections are all good.
Unfortunately the ipod docks are a it fragile so I wouldn't be suprised if it was the unit itself that was at fault. I had to have my dock changed a couple of years ago.

Thanks for the reply.. have tried pressing twice and no luck so will check the connections else I'll forget that idea and go for the RNS510 earlier than planned!
Cheers
