Title: Possible to Delete Auto wipers function?

Is it possible to stop Auto wipers and have just manual control via the stalk?
Auto wipers really get on my tit$

heavy rain = no wipe, very light rain = wipers go mental! :stupid:

you can probably code it out but you might lose auto lights as well and not sure if it would give you variable intermittent control.

I assume you have tried adjusting the sensitivity. I find they can be annoying sometimes but I mostly just use the sensitivity adjuster to control the wipers and find they are pretty good.

I am probably confused but i thought the auto wipers came on when on when on the first click of the stalk ?, after that you control yourself and back to the beginning for nothing ?, or am i confused LOL

yeah you can switch them off but you dont have an intermittent wiper function if off its either rain sensor or constant wipe or full wipe.  I think the OP was looking to remove auto and go for a intermittent control by the adjustment switch.

Doesn't it state something about this in the manual? I'm sure it can be overridden but can't recall how.

Aye thats the same as mine , I dont like them at all TBH , I'd much rather just have standard intermitant wipe.
