Hi Guys and Girls, Im from North Wales and I thought I would show myself after lurking on here for a few months,  :wink:
anyway, iv owned my 2008 reflex silver gti since january and im loving it! the forum is really good too, except they want to make me spend more money :signLOL: :happy2:

thanks for the welcome guys!  :happy2: the roads are good up here but can lure you into a false sense of security, i'd never seen another silver gti until i bought mine and now iv seen about four!  :signLOL:
2 Quick questions if you dont mind guys? does the front vw badge just pull out like on mk2's or do i have to remove the grill to get it out? and how do you remove the plastic engine cover so that i can install a panel filter? thanks in advance

Hello and Welcome   :drinking:

For the front VW badge it's a twist first then it can be pulled out.

The engine cover just pulls off as it on 4 rubber mounts, it helps to warm the engine a little first.
