Title: Festival Of Speed 2011
Post by: Oli on June 06, 2011, 07:24:47 pm
Hello all

Just wanted to mention that we are displaying one of our 2011 VW Californias at the Festival Of Speed this year. Be sure to pop along to our stand and say hello, for your chance to win a camper van holiday, and have a look around the California. Be good to put some names to faces as well. We are on stand 302.

Right, it's happening tomorrow. See you there.

If you can't make it, you can still enter our competition, to win a week in a VW California, by going to our website, www.bmvs-camperhire.co.uk (http://www.bmvs-camperhire.co.uk) , and press the big red button, and enter your details.  Our usual terms and conditions apply, as per website.

Good luck

Ooh, will have some good VWs to look at this FOS! ;) Last year there was a guy desperately trying to get rid of a 70s splitty, and was charging fecking ridiculous prices!

I was there yesterday, my first visit and what an impression it has left on me! I had the best time with girlfriend, Dad, brother and friends. I haven't been to a car show since I was a kid and didn't know what to expect. I was blown away by the staggering amount of unique cars ripping up the track oozing class style and sometimes looniness. I filmed some of the hill climb and rally stage on my measly iPhone
and made a video when i got back.

I will go again next year and the year after that, 10 hours just isn't enough.

I saw a Mk5GolfGTI member leaving the car park (obvious from his rear window sticker) and saw a few Ed30's in the car park. I only got one shot of the Mk1GTI rally car which was stunning as it zipped up the final leg of the climb. Ken Block was the highlight for me, no one works the crowd like him!
