Im after a part number for the metal brackets that mount off the cylinder head onto the rubber gromits that hold the mk5 gti airbox/engine cover on please.

1x pole that rubber engine cover things push onto £3.60 each

Don'r suppose you know if the plastic bit on the end that the bung fits onto is available seperately do you? mine has somehow worn down.

The rubber 'thumb' shaped things that the airbox cover pushes and fixes to are called 'ball joints' and are £5 each from VW

Is there a part number on them? car is at a garage at the moment so can't check.
Doesn't affect the engine cover, but would just like to sort them out properly.

WHT 000 898 A is the ball end spigot that the rubber slides onto..
and 036 129 689 B is the stop buffer or Grommet in the air box cover.
