Title: Sidelights as DRL
Post by: PJC430 on June 10, 2011, 07:07:13 pm
Hey guys,

Does anybody know whether it is possible to set the sidelights on a mk5 to act as DRL. I.e. Iluminate whenever the ignition is on?

It seems this is something that can be done on a rocco so was wondering if it was something that can be set through VAGCOM on a mk5.

Hope someone can help

Thanks

Nobody have an idea on this??

I believe on the Rocco you have to set the dipped beam as DRL and set sidelights to come on as well. I believe the trick is to then to set dipped beam DRL brightness as 0%, hence sidelights on only.

Does anybody know if this can be done on the MK5? Anyone with VAGCOM fancy having a look to see if this can be done?

Hope someone can help.
