Saw this earlier. Pretty impressive.
The wheel that comes off and goes way up in the air and comes down near the guy in the blue tabard before chasing a few other victims off. :scared:
-
That Ferrari shouldn't have been there and should have moved over straight away  That wheel would have hurt some one if it would have hit them.

There still under safety car now! :surprised:
-
I think audi are contemplating packing up for the weekend rather than risk the 3rd car.
-
Serious crash that! What amazes me is how the drivers can just get up and walk away from a crash like that
-
Ferrari........................
Glad Monsieur Mctavish is ok. what a crash!
-
Wow 2 humongous crashes!
Ironic tho watching the warm up sesh this morning commentators were saying mcnish is the best at getting thru traffic the quickest. They also said it's a 24 hour race and you can't win it in first hour only lose it. Maybe the Ferrari didn't see mcnish coming thru at that speed and mcnish should have taken a bit more care in getting thru the traffic. But hindsight and all that.
Lucky none of those toggers behind the barrier wasnt injured tho could have been very bad!
-
WoW nasty crash :scared:
Glad he's ok.
I'm watching the race now on eurosport, see how long I can stay up lol
-
Bad luck with those Audi's, maybe a couple of these could have turned the luck:
:driver: :pomppomp:
-
They were both okay after these smashes,it just shows the level of protection :happy2:
-
Now I always say if you are going to do something, you may as well do it right......and that crash was indeed done right and proper!! :scared:
-
one of the other crashes
-
Dame that was lucky no one got hurt :surprised:
-
Yeah, I saw the Rockenfeller crash, was worse than the McNish crash I thought.
But the race was very exciting, 15s between LMP1 first and second, in 24 hours!
-
I was sat about 20m from where McNish's car came off the track, was a bit of a brown pants moment seeing that coming towards you. Full credit to the marshalls though who were quick to get the car onto its wheels to get him out! It did then mean a long stint of SC while they replaced a huge chunk of Armco.
