Glad its not just me having problems.  I have a dish up and Humax Freesat Hd box, get disturbed digital picturein stormy weather.

I assumed its cause Im over in germany.  (Took me ages to find the right astra satalite)

Tried a signal booster but apparently on worthwhile over long cable runs.  Have 2resistors in the 2 spare slots on the LNB to prevent signal leak.
However if it pisses it down we sometime still get crap picture :-(

Going to try a bigger dish

So annoying!

lots of factors Shaun...

Hopefully your sat dish was aligned accurately to start with to help in poorer weather conditions.

Although no matter how well or how large your dish is, the volume of water in the cloud will prevent your dish seeing the bank of satellites 35 kilometres away :happy2:

Do sky charge to check the dish ?

If you have no extended warranty Shaun, then a £65 call out charge would be the bill.

Or if you know a local sky engineer that'll check it for a beer

Just got a new 250gb Amstrad from Sky for free as part of my home move, much better than my old Pace HD box that I have had since 2009.
