Title: Boot strut trouble
Post by: keano on June 12, 2011, 10:13:34 pm
Hi again  :happy2:

I realised over the weekend that my right hand boot strut is leaking fluid.  As a result my boot wont stay open as just one strut isn't strong enough to hold it. (As I found out when it bashed me on the head! )

Are these repairable? Or do I need another? Pricing would be great too if anyone knows?

All the best,

Nick

Sounds like the perfect excuse to fit boot poppers!

Mine failed about 2 months ago, cost around £35 from memory..

Seals failed for no reason, pissed fluid out same as yours keano..

Must be a RED Thang
