Am i right in thinking there are at least 2 different part number higline clusters that can be fitted to 55 plate GTI?
Anyone know the compatible part numbers,
Thanks.

1K0 920 970 (not sure if the GTI ever came with this part number)
1K6 920 971
1K6 920 972
These can all be used in a 55 plate GTI and will work fine...........although I would suggest the 1K6 920 972 as it is the one that would of been fitted in the factory and is compatible with the new MFSW buttons with the menu button.

Thank you, much appreciated :happy2:
So 1K0 920 974 Would not be compatible at all?

1K0 920 974 is a standard golf cluster.
But 1K6 920 974 is a later GTI cluster and unless supplied with the SKC cannot be fitted.
I think Shark and Richter Sport used to do them but I dont think they can now.
I looked on ebay.de earlier and there are two 972 clusters on there....but there 300 and 330€ :surprised:

Thanks again :happy2:
I got the 974 for my GTI without doing any research so now will have to sell,
How much is it worth do you think?
-
TBH I'm not sure.
It's only worth what someones willing to pay for it. Stick it on the bay and see what you get.
Have you called Richter Sport/Shark/Hazzydayz to see if they can do it? I'm pretty sure they can't though.
If you get a 972 I can fit it for you no problem :happy2:
