Title: Edition 30 owners - how much hissing?

As said really, if you drive along with the window down how much hissing can you hear when you depress the accelerator?

Standard - next to none
Standard with Forge spacer - lots
ITG inlet with forge spacer - lots and lots!

Also I found some time ago a vacuum hose split to my DV and that hissed alot...

Split diaphragm in the DV perhaps?

Have already ordered another DV just in case, how common is it for Rev D valves to fail?

Did the System too Rich at Idle  error code come back on whilst on Revo stock code? It sometimes would come on VCDS 2 days after the fault had actually occured when I checked after converting the Km to Miles.

I though rev d diverter was the piston type!

It wouldn't fail if it was a rev D DV :happy2:

I haven't heard of any revD DV's going.

I seem to remember Forge suggesting rev D's had failed.

Why not come down to JKM and stick it on the Dyno. At least you would have some idea if there is a problem or not.  :smiley:

Changed DV - if anything that has made it worse now  :scared:

Seems to run much, much better with MAF disconnected - what does that mean?
