Title: Can anyone help with these faults?

Hi all,

I keep getting the yellow light coming up on my dash, the one that looks a little like a engine transmission picture  :confused:

I send it back to the garage where I bought it from (vauxhall dealership) and they send it to an independent vw garage.

What is starting to worry me is that the problems are not getting fixed and that they are just turning out the yellow light  :scared: because as soon as I get the car back on the 2nd day the light comes back on with similar faults to last time  :sad1:

The one that says the radiator fan restricted/jammed, Ive had a look and the fan spins with no problems, so could this be the fan motor or the sensor?


the problem I have is I bought the car from away because there where no cars round my area, so its a 2.5 hour drive to the garage.

Now they have been spot on and picked my car up on a transporter and dropped off a courtesy car when my car has had to go back to them, but Im worried the problems I have above are not getting sorted properly  :sad1:

I got the error info above from a local garage that can read vw's

Does anyone know what exactly the above errors are, also would you be asking to get the car sent to a vw dealership, if so where do I stand, can ask for this  :confused:

I bought the car on the 13th May and only drove it for 4 days, the rest of the time Ive had problems or the garage have had it  :sad1:

Not helping you much i know but i would blank out my VIN  :happy2:

It's tricky one because really the dealer should be sorting the problems out for you.  Have you spoken to them again and given them copies of the info you have??

I think for a start you need to change the fan, or at least ask the supplying garage to do so.

Is there any evidence of it having had a front end smash??

No signs at all of a front end smash as I've checked all the area, I'm just waiting now for the dealer to phone me back to find out what they are going to do  :popcornsoda:
