Title: RNS510 ver C LCD Recommendation
Post by: JosGt on June 19, 2011, 03:31:41 pm: guys im new on here and hope that me posting this doesnt put anyones nose out of place, but just wanted to let you know how i got on today~!!!!!

had a RNS510 ver C LCD(with video in motion) fitted today by nick (on the R32OC.com (user name-N13KKF)) in my gt tdi and was very happy with the result!! (gets even better when you turn the thing on!) :jumping:

i have high line and MFSW and the control i have from the dash and the wheel is very good, can pause, skip chapters and follow the sat nav all from the wheel and following the highline for satnav while watching a DVD,

Nick was very well organised which was a big plus for me as i had a 5hour round trip to see him, and as soon as he had finished i was glad i got up early on a sunday!

would recommend Nick if u want coding and bits supplied (wish the BBS VZ's i've ordered were as quick out the blocks as Nick is!! ordered them beginning of may and still no delivery date from germany!!)

I got my RNS510 ver C from him and he fitted a new can bus for me before fitting the RNS.

I would also highly recommend him :happy2:

Is this something you have to 'switch on'with VCDS, oh and voice control also?

In the mfd you need to use vcds and until the box next to BAP then reboot
