Just got home. Went to open the garage door and noticed a bit red plastic bag or something stuck to the rear offside wheel. Looked a lil closer and it's red paint!
No damage whatsoever to the arch/paintwork around the wheel and the rest of the rim's okay apart from a small scuff.
I know I didn't park or go anywhere near any red vehicles, so no idea where it came from. It wasn't there when I left home after lunch time, so the only place I can think I might've picked it up is when I left it parked elsewhere today.
Any idea how red paint (from another car I presume) could have ended up on my alloy, without damage to the rest of the car/paintwork?

How rude :P
Sounds like a red cars bumper has hit your wheels whilst reversing out of the space next to you?
