Title: Blueflame Backbox Only?
Post by: Betty02 on June 23, 2011, 09:03:40 am
Ok well I have finally got myself an R32 rear bumper now it is time to get the backbox to go with it.

Low on funds atm as I just spent my Recaro money and booked a bloody holiday (silly women :() anyhowww - I still have my bumper :D

Now I would love a milly I really would but it's just the price of them I can't afford for now, so have been looking at this -

http://www.blueflameperformance.com/cars_english/blueflame-car-exhausts-1/vw/golf-mk5-gti-edition-30-2004/vw-golf-mk5-gti-edition-30-2004-on-76mm-rear-tail-pipes-twin-4-00-trims-with-brace-bar-bftrim010-r32-style-centre-exit.html

Obviously as you can see this has no pictures so first question is - Does anyone have pictures of this product on and off the car?

Secondly is this a backbox only? So will be a straight swap I can do myself? What is the sound like compared to stock?

Hope someone can help me would be great!

Thanks
Simon

I might be wrong but I think the item in the link you provided is just the tailpipes, not the backbox. I'd imagine the backbox would cost a bit more than that.

Have a look at TC build thread he was the first to have the system made on his r32 rear end

Cheers for the help guys! Already spoke to Trick about his too.

Unfortunately the so called 'excellent condition' R32 bumper I went to get yesterday wasn't so excellent at all, needed plastic wleding in 2 places scratched to hell so needed a respray! oh and 1 tab that holds it on had snapped.

So no exhaust for now - but till thanks for the info!
