Title: oil on roof lining :(

Hi all managed to get oil on my roof lining :( whats the best way to remove it without damaging the roof lining or making it worse ??

Look online at solvent based cleaners, you don't want to be soaking it with water and detergent.

WD40 is suprisingly good at removing oil and grease from carpets and fabric, we use it at work for oily footprints on customers carpets, i find it works best if use you can 'dab' the stain away  :smiley:

I have used Swan lighter fluid, the stuff you would put in a zippo. Its pretty good on oily, grease marks.
The Mrs got some all over our suede head board (don't ask  :laugh:) and she was having a mare about it. Gave it a dab with the fluid and patted it off to dry it. No marks at all.

Ok cheers Guys ill brave it and have a go soon, not sure what method to use first though

Hi Mike

Did the Degreaser spray work i got hold of for you,hope your roof lining is back to normal again.
