Title: Low oil pressure
Post by: bailey on June 27, 2011, 02:15:19 pm
Hey, i have a MK5 gti, done 130 thou miles!! but always been a good runner, got FSH and all that, i was recently driving a 200 mile journey when my Oil light came on, I heard 3 beeps and a red oil light came on and the dash said stop low oil pressure! i was thinkin maybe a faulty pressure switch, but there is no trouble codes, so maybe a dodgy oil pump? or blocked pick up pipe or strainer? any one else had this problem? would be a lot of help to share your knowlege, much appreciated..bailey

Hi mate! Couse of that I sold my GTI... Read my treath

My advise... Screw off buton for oil change (where you replace, add oil into the engine) And check with your finger if there is any old/dirt oil stick to the engine. I got cca 1cm of old oil all ower the engine... If that is it you are looking some expensive ways for clean these sh*t off...
