getting a set for my mk5 golf and was thinkin of fitting streched tyres whats peoples opioin on the look would it suit the wheel aslowhats the tyre size i would need to do it on a 18"wheel
Also seen to set of bbs lm wheels one set is 18"x45offset x8j
and the others are18"x42offset x8
would theses both fit my mk5 golf GT without rubbing
any help would be great thanks

I had ET42 18x8 with 225/40/18 and no rub, once the front arch liner screw had been pushed out of the way.

whats best et45oret42? is that tyre size a stretch look

If you want the stretch look with the tyres you will need some really narrow tyres, probably 205 maximum width, i have no idea though just a guess and you will need the car slammed on its arse or it will look considerably sh*te with stretch and no low. :driver:

What he said, I had 17" alloys on my MK5 way before I had air with loads of stretch, and it looked so daft it was embarasing.

If your going for 18" then you can put a 215 on and looks good :happy2:
