Title: A day spent in the mach loop (more added) very pic heavy :)

Spent today on the side of a valley in North Wales taking pics of the RAF doing what they do best.

Taken with my serious lack of photography skills/knowledge, Nikon D5000 and a budget Tamron 70-300 lens which is soon to be replaced :laugh:

Haha yeah I shouted something along those lines, Thats why he got on the radio and had his mate come through for me :jumpmove:

All in all what a great day/experience it was, I expected it to be a great sight but blimey I was blown away. The morning was jam packed full of hawks and 2 Tornado's low level with what sounded like F15's in the area but come the afternoon when the thunderstorms arrived over SE England alot of aircraft were recalled and the bases shut down.

I would love to post the rest of the pics up now but ive been up since 4 and if i start going through them all now ill be up all night.
So please dont ban me :signLOL:

Gotta love the sound of the F-15's they were up the day before and the day after my trip :sad1: They got recalled on the Tue due to bad weather at they're base.

It is completely hit and miss with the aircraft chaps you can stand there all day and not see anything or you get wall to wall movements all day, there is no way to predict when there will be aircraft through in advance well unless you kidnap someone in the know :innocent:
