Mines has always been ran on VW specific oil I assume as it has full VWSH, but since I've got it now I'm gonna service it every 6-8K. So what oil does everyone use? I've always used Fuchs Titan Pro S oil in my old cars, will this be OK with the golf!?

There are a gazillion threads asking this, :scared: just try the search button. :happy2:

Oil should have VW 504/507 spec.
I think most on here use castrol edge 5W-30.

I was recommended to use a good quality 5w40 by opie due to state of tune. I opted for Millers CFS which is triple ester.
