Hi all,
Sorry haven't been on for a long time.
And this is probably an odd question - I have been looking at the backside of my 1.6FSI sport, and really hate that bottom half black plastic valance/lip/bottom half or whatever people call it. And then this morning on the way to work I was stuck behind an EOS and I just wondered if the bottom rear bumper valance will fit at all? does anyone know?
Many thanks.

I would doubt it will fit straight on but a body shop might be able to make it fit, although would be a lot cheaper to just get a gti bumper and get it painted.

Thanks for the reply, it was just a thought I had the other day. This is because if I get a GTi rear bumper (resprayed or one in silver so doesn't need to) I still have a hole where the GTi exahaust is and on my FSI the exhaust does not point out, it is angled down to the ground!!!! damn VW

get a GTI catback

I wouldn't stick an Eos rear on...... that should be left on an Eos!
Instead, how about an R32 rear with this exhaust surround:

Thanks guys for the suggestions. To be honest i really like the Vortex back valance but I can't find one on the cheap. I might just go and get my existing sprayed silver to match the car, any idea how much it'll be roughly?
And I am guessing the GTi exhaust has different diameter to my 1.6FSI?
just found this on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300573253647#ht_500wt_1156
but why is the exit at an angle to the backbox? is it not 90 degree to the actual back box itself?

Think it will still fit as the back box is smaller so fills the gap, may need a bit of modding t og et the fixings to hold it in place,
Though not a fan of that at all really. Just get a standard gti exhaust off ebay, they are about £50 and will work with a GTI back bumper (also only about £40 from dealers)
