Don't get me wrong these are nothing special and to be honest I'd be more comfortable knowing people were only using them on 12v but for the money a handy tool to have in the tool bag, you can't go wrong.
With leads, instructions and battery!
A multimeter which can be used for circuit testing
e.g. testing if there is a circuit through for fuses, lamps, etc.testing mains voltage, testing batteries, etc.
and also for quick testing of transistors and diodes.
Uses 1 x 9V battery (provided).
2 x red and black 2mm test leads (provided).
5 resistance (ohm) ranges,
2 A.C. volts ranges (200 and 750),
5 D.C volts ranges (0.2, 2, 20, 200 and 1000) and 5 D.C current ranges (0.2, 2, 20, 200mA and 10A)
Special sockets for diode, pnp and npn transitors.
Pocket sized and lightweight.
Full instruction leaflet.

Oi sunshine, excuse me that's a family heirloom you are mocking. :sad1:
-
I'm not mocking, simply saying that if you can fit your current device into your pocket then I see no reason to change
-
Good old Avo 8 there VRstu, still use mine daily, the cheap multimeters have too lower internal impedance for alot of applications.
-
Jesus, I remember useing those many moons ago at college :ashamed:
-
That's H's little baby

When my last company were going under they told us to take what ever tooling we wanted, one of these history pieces came home with me :happy2:
