Hi all, I've been sent over here from Pistonheads as I'm toying with the idea of a remap on my Edition 30.
I'm 50/50 on getting it remapped as it has a main dealer warranty for the next 3 years, so I have some simple and I'm guessing often asked questions.
- Does the Ed30 handle the additional power from a remap?
- Is it ok running on the stock parts? I'm not planning on tracking it, I'm just missing out on the additional shove that the Porsche I sold had.
- Is the AMD map switchable? At the moment the offer I have is only for the AMD remap, and I would like to know if I can switch it back to stock when it goes in for a service.
- Does the MPG go even further south when a map is applied?
Cheers! I'm sure these have all been asked before, but I need to know specifically about the AMD remap as that's the one that I've been offered.

I know the AMD used to be switchable but that was before they were bought by Big Boys Toys so I'm not sure now.
REVO and Superchips Bluefin would offer the same sort of effect with REVO being switchable and Bluefin being a flash device.
A simple stage 1 map will be fine on the ED30.
MPG depends on the weight of your foot.
