Hi all just a dumb question, thinking of fitting either OEM or Fiscon bluetooth very soon and realised my RNS 510 was already Voice conrtol ready.
Does the microphone of the Bluetooth modules work with RNS510 for voice control and telephone functions?
Gtlee.

I don't know that a Fiscon would give you voice on the RNS510 but the OEM definitely would.

danishmkvgti,
What setup do you have ?
-
You can use voice on the RNS510 without Bluetooth you just need an OEM Mic and a cable to the back of the RNS. So with that in mind, even with a Fiscon you could still make it work.
I don't think the Bluetooth aspect would be a streamlined but I think that's just Fiscon

Thats clearing it up abit for me, problem is finding theOEM BT module that works 100% with the highline ,RNS510 and most importantly my iphone 4.
-
729B is the one you need mate. Personally I don't get excited about the Highline as the RNS510 is a much better delivery of the functions.

danishmkvgti,

I had a Parrot kit with mic in the car when I bought it but didn't wire it back to my new RNS510 when I put it in, would that mic do voice control if I wired it back up?
-
You need an OEM mic.
