Title: Setting drls in xenons as indicators?
Post by: geordie56 on July 06, 2011, 08:45:21 pm
Hi, on my rocco I have xenons and want to set the drl within the cluster as the indicator, I have bought some orange bulbs for this and have been told it can be done. Does anyone know the best way of achieving this without cutting the loom? Has anyone carried this out on there golf? It's a 59 plate in case you need to know the my.

I think there is coding in the central electrics/bcm to use the sidelights/drls has indicators but only for backup purposes i.e if the indicator bulb/s should go then it switches to the sidelight/s I don't think its set like that has default so will need VCDS to look for it.
