Hi all,

Seems like a great forum here, so as the proud owner of an 08 Edition 30 thought I'd register and say hello.

Geat car - certainly a big step up speedwise from my old mk1 2L Focus. After the Focus (actually a great car, but not the quickest), I wanted something faster. Was going to go for a standard GTI, but having test-driven one, it didn't have quite the ooomph I'd hoped. Having read forums such as this I learned about something called an "Edition 30" with a little more oomph.....and now have one sitting happily in my garage.

Great car. The only slight disappointment being the stereo, but once I've sorted a replacement there's an RCD300-sized hole in my bin waiting for it :grin:
