Ive looked through the forum and there seems to be differant ways of getting the ED 30 plaques ! one way is to phone someone jenny i think ( No idea who she is or where to contact her about ) and order one through her or another way i believe is through the VW dealership although ive heard this is a pain in the Ass and a few people have been waiting months !
Also how do i find out the number of my car in the first place ? is it just a case of phoneing a dealership with the chassis reg number ? I would appreciate it if you could advise how you got yours and how long it took, a price would be good too.

Go to the thread with the phone number and speak to that person. They'll tell you the build number as well as arrange for your badge.

When I phoned to get mine, they told me they don't know the build number, I had to wait til it came through the post to find it out.
Just give VW uk a call, remember they won't send one out if one has been sent out previously eg to a former owner.
I didn't have to wait too long for mine but I know some people waited months!

ive not seen a thread with a number in it yet just one that said someone called jenny sorted him out and sent the plaque with in a couple weeks, ill keep looking though it must be somewhere
