Title: Ipod Cable

This has been on going for a while now, I bought an edition 30 registered in December 2007 and I've replaced the standard cd player with an MFD3 RNS 510 Version C. I know you can connect your ipod to it so that everything shows on the head unit screen but I can't find the cable any where to do it. When I asked VW the gave me cable 1K0051444D which does play your ipod but doesn't display anything on the screen of the head unit. Can anybody help me find the right thing?

you best option is an mdi kit for full use and display on the rns. check this out

when i got my edition.. i had the full ipod kit...but i never knew that someone had taken the cable out, now myipod connection won't work and VW say i have to pay 300 quid for a whole new system as u cannot jus buy the cable!! really annoying me

is that the standard volkswagen ipod adaptor? or mdi kit?
