Hi Guys,
I need some help interpreting my service schedule. Based on my schedule below, what service should I get next and when should it be?
2/8/05 - Car Purchased
20/7/07 - 12634 miles - Oil Change & Interval Service, Inspection, Longlife Oil and Brake Fluid
24/7/09 - 29635 miles - Oil Change & Interval Service, Inspection, Longlife Oil, Spark plugs, Brake Fluid
17/8/10 - 35260 miles - Interval Service and Inspection
17/3/11 - 39560 miles - When I bought it - Oil Change Service, Insection, Cambelt Change (at my request)
Unfortunately the last two services haven't had the tick boxes done so the last time it was marked yes/no for the items was July '09.
Your help would be much appreciated. I am going to use a local Independent (Glasgow) instead of using these large chains who don't seem to care about filling the book out.
Cheers
Martin

Oil filter

Hope that helps

If you have dsg then it too will need a service.
btw insist that they only use long life oil regardless of your service schedule.

Have you thought of putting it on this?
http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/owners/servicing/fixed-price-servicing
Includes 2 MOT’s in the price for £349. :happy2:

Thanks guys, that's great!
With the service plan, if I do less than 10k per year would that give me my service now and one for the next 2 years (3 services inc first one now) or would the last one be this time next year?
I've actually done 44k in it now so should just retain the July/August schedule.....

with that plan you get 2 services, no more no less. It'll be either 2 in 2 years or 2 in less than 2 years because you've done 20k miles (10k + 10k).

Great, thanks for that! :happy2:
