Hi peeps just wondering what s the deal with the yellow fogs I've been spotting lately , function over fashion or both??
:confused:
-
Supposed to shine through the fog better so a bit of both really
-
Looks Tonk :sick: IMHO! :sick:
Never liked the yellow fog look even back in the day when it was very popular on the old 205GTI
-
i really dont rate the yellow fogs...a little to 'euro' for me !! haa
-
I used to paint my headlights of my Mk1 Polo with the yellow 'paint' (more like a nail varnish or similar!) you bought if you were going to France , Ive never seen it for ages so how do they do it now - I was doing this in 1988!

:happy2:
Read that over on SCN aswell

They do cut down on the glare quite a bit. Anything that reflects less "WHITE" helps when foggy.
How they look to you in daylight is based purely on taste, but night vision in fog is the main reason for them;

Most people do it just for look purposes, its deffo a euro thing, its just laminex that my mate has fitted to his.
-
Mine are yellow lamin-x w/yellow fog bulbs, much better in the fog.

I do like the "retro" look on the yellow fogs.
