Have done a search, Im wanting to see the varying levels of increased oil consumption people suffer after fitting BSH or Forge catch can systems.
Thanks in advance :drinking:

Can't say I have noticed an increase in Oil Consumption Mike. I have the Forge unit fitted.
I assume if you have a can fitted a bit gets caught, if you have no can, it's burnt off.

How long have you had it fitted mate?

.
I haven't noticed any significant change either way in oil consumption since fitting the BSH and then Forge catch can. Doesn't oil consumption get influenced by type of journeys and mileage?

Had the Forge unit about 12months mate and before that a BSH can for about 6months.

Had the BSH catch can for 15K now, no change in oil consumption

Nope, it is returned to the sump.
-
Ah. Thanks for clearing that up.

The only time the oil doesn't get returned to the sump is when under full throttle or very high engine loading - then it can build up in the PCV, and basically this is normally the only time they'll burn oil. :happy2:
