When you've had turbo's replaced have you had the oil pump etc checked??
Common issue with TDi's that have been on variable servicing.

update 2/08/2011
well my turbo is on its way back and been told its fine--so the next step is to check the breather on top of the rocker cover
-
Good news mate, check all the boost pipes? I had damage on the rubber 90 degree pipe that comes from the turbo and quite a bit of smoke, also check and clean the EGR valve they get really gunked up.
Darren
-
cheers Darron will check them, cleaned the egr valve out 2 months ago, also going to change the rocker cover breather
-
update again :signLOL:
the turbo came back with a report to say check
There is oil evidence of oil leakage into the turbine housing volute. This is because the oil entering the turbocharger bearing housing is not draining back into the sump at the currect flow rate using the turbo chargeras a secondary breather..The most common cause of this is a restricted engine breather/excess crank case compression.Restricted drain back...
I have replaced the rocker cover with the breather in as you can't buy it seperate..i was told of vw this is the only breather on the pd engine
-
Have they done a cylinder compression test?
-
They did one and they said it was ok
