For Manual tranny owners : - Linky : - Info about the WOT Box (http://www.npcompleteperformance.com/wotbox)
It seems to be commonly used by those dudes across the pond.
Any thoughts?
-
There are a few using it over on SCN with what seem good results.
-
WOW - I simply HAVE to get this for the R32.... DSG? - no need
-
Maybe now I'll have a realistic chance against Phyllis?
-
I keep looking at these but not sure i like the idea of cutting into the wiring loom myself.
-
Here is a video to show how it works.
And here is another really nice touch for it.
-
That looks like a really good bit of kit that :happy2:

Robin - this is your best post EVER...   This product is too good to be true - and its not April 1st either! I wonder if there are any issues with the box... I'm going to get a short-shift kit fitted to the R32 by VAGTech in the summer and will probably get this done at the same time.

So I guess it'll be good for your R32 your wife's R32 but not for your GTI because that's DSG isn't it?
What's yours is mine - Was that in your wedding vows?

Sort of :ashamed: In the Islamic tradition/law, she gets to keep everything she owns/earns and the man has to maintain the family/pay the bills/mortgage etc... with his money. Of course, in any divorce case, she doesn't get the man's money and vice-versa, unless they both earned it together - say ran a business together etc.. No gold-diggers allowed . You can specify conditions in the contract but we didn't as we ahem... sort of eloped to get marriage - young and foolish and all that
Anyway, she's quite protective of the R32 and I did manage a Freudian slip the other day and said 'our R32' and she VERY promptly corrected me with a mean look on her face :scared:   I still can't help but want to mod it though...

It's not as widely appreciated among the non-Islamic people as it should be, but there is much in Islamic tradition/law which is very just and others would learn well from this.
Did you see Boris Johnson's 2-part BBC documentary about the history of clashes between Christianity and Islam? Brilliant by Boris and it did much to destroy justification for anti Islamic attitudes.
I've only found a vid of Part 1 so far : - After Rome: Holy War and Conquest (http://www.strimoo.com/video/14022827/After-Rome-Part-1-Veoh.html)

Talking of Boris Johnson, did you know his great-grandfather was a Muslim Turk :surprised: A certain Ali Kemal Bey, a liberal Turkish journalist and the interior minister in the government of Damat Ferid Pasha, Grand Vizier of the Ottoman Empire :rolleye:
As for Islamic Law/Shariah its a complex subject just like the Roman or Chinese Legal systems, but in its caricaturised form, its a favourite target of the Daily Hate Mail et al... - but then I can't say I'm surprised when their focus is on Rent-A-Mob Anjem Choudary - self-styled Judge of the Shariah Court UK - which exists only in Cyberspace and his own vacuous head. He's the one responsible for 'Behead those who Insult Islam' placards and other colourful choice slogans like 'Butcher those who insult Islam', 'Europe, you will pay, extermination on its way' etc... :ashamed: and the harranguing of the Royal Anglians in Luton recently. He's about as representative of Muslims and their Legal Tradition as the National Front is of the indigenous white population and political tradition in the UK.
Not sure how we got onto the Ottoman Empire and the National Front from the WOT box though

Perhaps WOT stands for Which Ottoman Turk is Boris descended from!?

I bought one.. ended up selling it to my mate due to the fact i wasnt ready to cut any wires on my new car..
We fitted it to his audi s4 and its a beast ! Love the launch control however i cant see the launch control being too good with our FWD cars

I have one on mine, works really well.. The flat shift feature is good, almost no boost loss through the gears which really helps with the bg turbo etc..
With proper tyres you would need launch control with the FWD.. Nicely set up FWD cars with slicks will run 1.7 60 foot times which is as quick as any 4WD car.. But as you say on road tyres it would be fairly pointless..
Fitting is very simple, Andy at ACR did mine in 40 mins, you would hardly know its there.. Although there wouldn't be many people I would trust to do the install..
On a side note, this amused me quite a bit..

So thats £480 for a £120 WOT box with a fancy sticker and fitting.. Hmm.. Ok then! lol.. Got to love it! The really funny thing is that lots of people have bought them haha!
