Title: Cluncking/grinding noise.
Post by: GTIStevie on July 20, 2011, 05:22:50 pm
Right just started yesterday when I'm driving at slow 20mph ish speed I can here a slight clunk/knock what sounds like from the passenger side, then when braking to stop for a junction there seems to be like a sort of clunk/grinding noise again on the passenger side.

Very stange anyone recommend where to start checking?? Gona strip down the brakes on Friday and have a look at a few other bits n bobs whilst im there.

Fitted new front discs and pads approx 2months ago and new rear pads 1month ago.

Cheers

Ive got the same issue mate.

I stripped mine down and so did a mate whos a mechanic and the only thing we could really see was the disks had a score on them as if something had got inside it. Touch wood its not been like that for a while.

Only other thing I thought of is if theres something actually caught in it? Stone or something?
