Hey everyone.

Been aware of the site for a while but just got around to signing up!

I'm David and live in County Durham, originally from Falkirk. I've got a 55 Golf 2.0 TDI in pearl blue.

I think I fell out of love with my car for a while, and toyed with the idea of moving on. It doesn't help that it recently got keyed by a little vandal (as well as my wife's car & 28 neighbours!), and to use an old scottish phrase, left me a bit scunnered!

Anyway, I recognise a few names from the uk-mkiv's site & I'm a fan of retrofit's so I hope you guys don't give me too much of a push to do more..!

Well so far this year I've had a 2ft deep scratch on the bonnet (above), a 4"x3" graze on rear bumper when it snowed, and 3 dents in the tailgate from ASDA at metro so I'm getting used to others abusing it by now!

How's your clocks doing?

sorry to hear that mate---clocks are excellent mate :happy2:--looking at the adataptor you plug in that gives you the boost gauge etc in your clocks

Good stuff, Andy. Highline clocks are my favourite mod for some reason! Your car's looking very nice. I've always been interested in the adapter let me know how it goes if you get one.

Hey Dan, me too! Are you the lad with the green Golf or have I mixed you up with someone else?

County durham must be a bit of a hot spot for modded vdubs , ive seen loads since i got mine !!

There's a few local websites, I see more dogs going about than good ones though!
