Title: Anyone used a wheel exchange service to get wheels refurbed?
Post by: m4t_lee on July 25, 2011, 09:11:27 pm
Seen them advertised on fleebay, they sent you a set of the same wheels you have but refurbed, fit em and send yours back all for a fee, anyone used them or does it sound a bit dodgy?

Cheers,

Mat

Never heard of this but I'd be very suspicious of it. In principal it's a good idea.

There's a few places that do this bu chance of them having your wheels (Pescy's in mind) and believe they come out more expensive...

I've found a place that, shot blast, do minor repairs, powder coat primer, bake, colour powder coat, bake, lacquer, bake all for £35 a wheel (cash)...

Have bought some cheap winter wheels, which I will sell on after...
