Title: Where to buy a acr bra?
Post by: VC on March 23, 2009, 03:36:53 pm: Where's the best place to get my hands on a decent car bra? i'm getting sick of the amount of tar i'm collecting on the bonnet, i don't want the full bra, just the bonnet

i want the OEM one but it comes embroidered with the GTI logo, nothing wrong with that if you own one of but i'm an .:R32 :chicken:

i'd worry that buying something generic wil end up flapping around the bonnet at speeds

(mods feel free to change my useless spelling in the thread title :ashamed:)

one thing that confuses me though, they list one for the mk5 and one for the gti. isnt the bonnet the same? theres no mention of embroidery so that can't be it?

Yeah the bonnets must all be the same, mine doesnt have any embroidery as its not an official VAG one but fit is fine! :happy2:

no, copyright issues :sad:

but tbh i'm just happy i've got one coming, the amount of tar the car is collecting is stoopid, the council is resurfacing everywhere at the moment...not in nice long smooth sections cos that would be to easy...they are doing an eneven blob here and there and not flattening them down :fighting:
