Dunno where the configurator thread went but I noted there's a reversing camera for only £150.

Anyone know the part nos and how soon it'll take before I can buy one from the stealers?

Doesn't it have to be wired to the SatNav?  Will it work with aftermarket Satnavs?  If it is a cheap install, then I'll be getting mine done - just have to carefully take the CF cover off mine  :wink:

Not satnav, just a screen with display eg RCD510. I'm planning on RNS-510 anyway, once the £ goes up or the Euro goes down.

I priced up the Passat version and at list without any of the cabling requirements the camera, boot mech and newer PDC controller added up to over £380  :surprised:

Some of the people at VWNavi.com have got both optical parking sensors on the RCD-510 and RNS-510 and mk6 reverse camera on the RNS-510 working on the Mk5, if you're prepared to read through pages of semi-incomprehensible Euro-English. I stopped hanging around there as it was drastically affecting my writing skills.
