Title: P torque remap
Post by: jakeyED30 on July 29, 2011, 09:58:51 pm
Hi

I had my ed30 mapped by Will at p torque on Wednesday, very very impressed and pleased with the map.

The car made 242bhp on the pre map run..... only mod being centre cat removed, and after the map made 314bhp

Very very please the car is a lot  quicker and the power delivery is very smooth.... I did think a 70bhp jump would feel quicker but Ive come from a Subaru so was spoilt a bit with that after a remap but think I will be more than happy with stage 2.... Don't get me wrong it is a quick car but I could just do with a tad more humph mid range ( greedy) !

If anyone is after a decent custom map will at p torqu is deffo worth a call before deciding  :congrats:

I'll let you know ow I get on when stage 2 is all done

I've been running Will's map on my ED30 since last Sep and love it, it made 311bhp and 319lb/ft last month  :happy2:

This is the 3rd map I've had from Will as he did my stage 1 and stage 2 on ky old mk4 Ibiza Cupra and that turned out to be one of the most powerfull mk4 Ibiza's over on SCN  :innocent:

never seen a bad post about Will @ PTorque.  I was enquiring with them for a remap on mine.  He only lost the custom due to him not replying to emails and phonecalls. by the time he had replied id gone elsewhere

I never seen a bad thing about Will either. VERY good customer service. I had a problem with my stage one on the Ibiza and because I had to travel so far for him to sort it out he upgraded me to stage 2 FOC  :happy2:

I too have only heard positive comments about Will at P-Torque but more in relation to diesel mapping.

Great prices too with the advantage of a before and after :congrats:

Most of the mk2Leon Cupra guys on SCN with Wills stage 1 are making circa 310-315bhp.

He does get very good results from the VAG dervs too

Had his stage 1 on my Leon TDI

I actually set up for a while as an agent for him doing mobile remaps.. but its a difficult world to break into with a lot of people offering sh*t maps with sh*t hardware!

I will not be hesitating to put one of his maps on the Golf though!!!

Hi
I've just picked up an ED30 which i'm hoping to remap (after running dreamscience on a Focus ST and Astra VXR) - where is P-Torque based?

Have you noticed any difference in MPG with the map?

Thanks

Had my remap done by Will, Thursday on my Leon Cupra, What a difference!!!

My Leon Cupra is awesome now and you couldn't find anyone more honest! had the Cupra on the rolles and she only pushed 220 bhp and Will stripped off the DV oiled it and gave me the option of remapping or coming back, because I had travelled some distance I gave him the go a head to carry on.

What a diference, although I didnt have the car on the rollers again as I had a boost leak he has saved the original out put and told me to re attend in a week or so for a roller session and to clear up any issues!

Spot on chap and an awsome "THUMBS" up fpr anyone wanting a remap at £295.
