Title: Type D DV
Post by: MaverickFSI on July 31, 2011, 06:11:40 pm
Hi chaps,

Can anyone explain the difference/purpose of changing to this DV over a normal one found on the Ed30's?

Cheers.

But not needed as it sits in front of the engine and not on the turbo as it does on the K03, thereby having a less hostile environment to work in

Ok, is it something you change upon engine up grades or can you do it running stock power?

What is the going price for one of these?

If your remapped on an Ed30, it's more durable , and can take the added boost pressure that comes from remapping .

Doesn't give added boost over the earlier revision G or C diaphragm type.

yes, the rubber dv sits nice and cool in front on your rhd cars compared to the K03 driven versions and the lhd ED30. i have done 80.000km on my revision G rubber DV where it was on a K03 for the first 20.000km, no problems whatsoever  :happy2:
