Hi,
Just a quick one. Is it normal to have little rust patches on the brake discs? It looks as if it is just on the surface.
Thanks,
C

Where on the brake discs is it? Normal to have it on the hub bit - use an emery board or similar to remove it and paint using hammerite silver to stop it happening again.
-
Not a problem it will go when you use it and start brakeing again

If it's on the disc and only looks cosmetic, it is and as psw says just driving the car will remove it in no time at all :happy2:

Ah thanks. I thought it might be lack of use as ihe car in saw has very low mileage. Thanks!

Ah - on the brake disc is normal. Happens when it's raining, or when you wash the car. There's nothing to protect the bare metal from the elements. As above, goes when you brake, which is something I recommend you do after washing the car.

yep washed my wheels yesterday and after the final coat of sealant was buffed off i took her for a small spin to ensure brakes were ok, despite being careful to get none of the wash or sealant onto the brakes - the first brake test was performed about 20 metres from my starting point just to make sure i wasn't about to go straight on at the end of my road
