Title: Can anybody tell me what this is please

Hi guys! Quick question, during cleaning my edition 30 yesterday, I went to reverse the car backwards and drove over a what looks like a metal clip or hook of somekind. It's definatly off the car as there was nothing on the drive before I cleaned the car. Any ideas... please?

Is it to hold the brake hose?

Check them on the rear.

Handbrake cable holder maybe.  Don't take notice of them much to be fully sure.  Looks rustier than usual.

That looks like a handbrake cable support.
Have a look under the rear, you should see them if they're still attached.

V. brave resting it on the paint work.

Looks like some reinforcing wire for concrete!  :confused: :confused:
