i did this, planning to brush it very very gently.....just above the rear wheel arch.
result, removed the birds deposit but left the body work with a 2inch scratch, (must have had a bit of gravel on my shoe) another lesson learnt in life! dammit
:congrats:

PMSL!
Janus.....what was your reasoning behind using a shoe to remove bird poo? I mean, you must have thought it was a good idea at the tme?
-
it was a real flakey bird poo that i was convinced just needed a helping hand........could not be bothered to walk into the house and get a sponge / cloth........... yeah thought it was a great idea, should have maybe taken the shoe off and controlled it using my hand, i wasnt helped by a couple of on looking pedestrians as they through my balance right off......!
anyhow, as mention, a lesson learnt in life, i now know not to do it again....also i can pass this knowledge onto everyone else :rolleye:

Remind me never to buy a car off you haha!

While we're at it:
Don't check to see if the kettle's boiled by sticking your finger in it.
Your tongue is OK for checking a 3v battery, but not the mains.
Any container with braille markings won't have lager in it.
I'm sure there must be more...

Go to halfrauds and buy some autoglym bird wipes and keep them in the boot.
FWIW I wouldn't even use a microfibre that had fallen on the ground on the car for fear of inflicting damage.
