Why thank you Micsta all the products used were Zymol i have a full list somewhere i will see if i can dig it out and will post them up. The chap who did the detail was really helpful and typical of chaps like you he was a perfectionist with OCD I have to thank 182 Blue for putting me in touch with this chap after i had originally asked 182 how to correct a few touches of rail dust that were on the car from new. I decided to get it done professionally first off as it was a new car and i was scared of ruining my paint work.  :rolleye:

The official name for it is rail dust i think it was first spotted on new cars that were stored next to the railway.
You need to clay the car to get it off properly. All cars have it, you can just spot it on white obviously.

Hi Tom I got a new car detail from  Matt from www.offyourmarks.com  it was £295 He has a garage in liverpool and he can give you a car for the day.
Also 182 can put you in contact with others if its a bit far. he is excellent though. normally does top end cars.

OK, it looks supurb!!

BUT.....

how long would it stay like this, are you going to maintain it?? how long did it take? and did he do indooors aswell?

id like mine done but only the outside, polish and wax and my wheels doing probably, dont require all the under doors or inside door latches n all that. what price do you think this would be?  :happy2:

The paint protection will last between 3 and 6 months and I think Joe he wouldnt bother just doing that for you or he would if thats what you requested but you would probably pay full price, I think £300 was his cheapest detail check the website out. he spends most of his time doing really top end stuff, porsches, bentlys, and such like. He is Known for being one of the best.

how long ago did you do this? and would you prefere a clean car or r32 rear??

The cost was expensive Joe it made me gulp when he said £295 But the car was brand new and had rail dust , 182 suggested claying it and a couple of other things after it, i had no idea what claying it was then, so i decided to get it done by the professionals and learn how too from them,
And also check out the wax which was used on the car there was probably £ 50 quids worth of wax on it.
My car is pristine no swirls not even a stone chip so i value keeping it in tip top condition more than the R32 rear, though it would be nice.

stunning detail and finish. I did the same as yourself, i bought a g22o and did the paint correction myself before i got my r32 and the millteks. Call it OCD but i just couldnt get the r32 rear without the car being swirl free.

Stunning finish there
