Has anybody fitted one of these to an ED30?
There doesn't appear to be enough room with out a spacer for the mount.
Do they sound loud?
Used to love my mates Evo.
Greeners did you have one?
-
Anybody!
-
I seen some vids on youtube with them fitted, sound really crap IMO
-
Do they have any negative effects on the running?
imo i like the sound...
:popcornsoda:

This doesn't replace the diverter valve that is something else.
This is the blow off to atmosphere adaptor.
Has anybody fitted one to an ed30?

A waste of time IMHO, why make a system that is designed to recirc start venting to air
-
you will get performance issues as like steve said, its meant for recirc, not to sneeze it out
-
Your probably all right, it doesn't fit anyway!
Not enough room on an ed30 as the valve is at the front of the engine.
-
it doesn't make it full Vent to Atmos tho...it's just a spacer with the Recirc valve there too so it does bit of both.
Forge was merely reacting to the public demand from VAG owners who wanted to replicate the noises produced by Scoobys/Evo's/GTR's/Vauxhalls/Renaults etc so this was created to satisfy their wishes!
DV's like HKS SSQV for Jap cars are mega loud!
-
Nice paper weight though!
-
I used one for a few months. had no problems, car felt the same.. can make a nice sound however i removed it because you could hear lots of turbine over psss, which annoyed me.
using rev d now
forge dv makes a squeek air sound like "fast and furious skyline" lol
-
Is a 'blow off valve' same as a dump valve?
I used to like the hiss sound you get on lift off but now think it's too chav.
-
Like everything in life it needs to be subtle!!! :happy2:
You dont want to look like a tw*t :signLOL:
